I Told You So

"I'm worried that it might be Parkinson's disease," I said to my doctor.

"I think that's unlikely," he said and suggested it might be vitamin B12 deficiency.

"I think that's unlikely," I thought, because I had been taking vitamin supplements recently. The tests showed my levels were fine.

He said he would refer me to a consultant - another generalist, but I asked to see a neurologist and he agreed. The first available appointment was on my 49th birthday and when I saw him he confirmed my suspicions after only a few minutes. Happy birthday!
